Since the middle of the XIX century Cannes are considered as a winter resort. At the same time the most prestigious hotel trademarks like Carlton, Majestic, Martinez started to build their luxurious apartments in Cannes. Today Cannes is not only very famous resort but it is also a capital of a world cinema, with the most prestigious festival.
