France is officially   loved as the French Republic. This main  soil  is in the Western Europe. It includes also  different islands and  soils in  different continents. Central France extends also from Rhine to the Atlantic sea. The French Republic makes about 220000 square miles.

France has the  common  edges  with Suriname, Brazil and with the Antilles in connection with overseas  departments . The capital of France is Paris. Other  known  cities  of France are Lyons, Toulouse, Nice, Rennes, Lille, Marseilles and Bordeaux. The name of world famous wine “Bordeaux” has been named in honor of this city. In Bordeaux there are many  wine regions.


France was the first country which adapted to the International system  of units. English was taught  at the French schools as the British English. France is one of  many countries where cars are driven on the right side of the  street. French economy is the sixth economy in size in the world. France is also  is one of the developed  areas . The country also is the sixth largest  importer and the fifth exporter of industrial goods. France  as well is the second  greatest addressee of direct foreign investments in comparison with other countries.


France is the leader of the countries of the ‘Great Seven’ from the point of view of productivity . France also is a member of the WTO, the United Nations Organization, Secretary of Pacific  community of interests and the Commission on Indian Ocean. France is a partial   fellow member of the NATO and associated member  of Association of the Caribbean states. UNESCO Headquarters, the Interpol and the International  office  of  bills  and scales are in France.


France uses civil-law  organization. A key rule is laws which have been put in the Napoleonic code. The law in France can be mainly  divided  in  two areas, the  common  right and a  personal  law. The private  law mainly  is  involved criminal and civil law whereas the public right concerns constitutional and administrative law. The French laws do not recognize laws on blasphemy.


Armed forces  of France consist of four  sections, army, fleet, military-air forces and a military police. France has at the disposal of, at least, 359000 military  men. France spends  almost 2,5 percent of gross national product for defense. The majority of the French military  engineering is made in France, in particular, an aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, a rocket and a rocket fighter “Rafael”.


Gothic art, and also architecture of baroque as speak, were  invented in France. Earlier Gothic art was called  as the French art.  Thus  France is the house  for many world famous both prestigious basil and cathedrals in Gothic style.


The French language  has not  got uniformity after  the middle Ages. It has been  split into  several  dialects . Almost each writer had  individual grammar. The French poetry and the literature has, allegedly, reached peak in the eighteenth and twentieth century’s. “Cinderella”, “the Sleeping beauty” and “the Dark blue beard” were born  in France during this time.  Tales have been written  by the well-known writer Charles. Other  powerful  donations of France to the world literature and a heritage are “Three musketeers”, ” The Count of Monte Cristo”, “the Humpback the Notre-lady” and “Twenty thousand in league under water”. “The opera Phantom”, written by Frenchman Gaston Leroy in the 20th century can be one of the most known products of the French literature  nowadays.
